jimsoloway Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I bet it will come with a banner inlay on the headstock that will read 1 of 1? Probably so but I wonder if folks might request a few more when the see and hear that 1 of 1? I think it's going to be amazing.
rockabilly69 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 What I would like to see is a single cut Millenium with no F-holes and tobacco style burst, the H style Heritage archtop tailpiece, Throbak MXV-101 pickups with polished nickel covers (with a slightly hot bridge pickup for good mid cut), 500K pots and PIO caps (.015 on the neck, .022 on the bridge), braid interconnect wire, switchcraft three way switch and output jack, polished nickel hardware, ABR bridge, ebony fingerboard, bone nut, block pearl inlays, bound neck and headstock, nickel grover tuners. Okay that will do it for me:)

NoSnowBlower Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 More talk about this lately. There WILL be something. It's not for me to say yet,but... Headstock veneer? YEP. Special fingerboard? VERY. That's all I should say for now. I think you'll like it.

Gitfiddler Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 At this time of year, any custom order will be a "special model for 2015".

This is a great opportunity to show the world that Heritage is not just a gibson knockoff. (Or was it not their idea?)
peterbright Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 2015 is not very far away...lets all hope for what we want
Number8 Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 PM me if it's a Prospect and I'll send my deposit tomorrow.
rstein Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I dont own any special edition Heritage guitars and I really want one so I hope its good. I am really only interested in something like the 140's and 150's though.
HANGAR18 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Heritage Guitar is going to be a HANGAR18 signature model guitar which features a 3-way toggle switch which changes the entire guitar from a H157 in the top position, to a Prospect in the middle position and then to a Flying V in the third position. Each guitar will have a translucent red finish with a AAAAA quilted Maple (or optional flame Maple) top and cream colored binding everywhere. So how do you make pickup selections if the 3-way toggle switch is now used to switch the guitar body over to one of three different designs? Simple! Using the new “What-Am-I-Thinking-About?” technology (which was invented by an old girlfriend of mine) the guitar will pay attention to what you are playing, follow the changes and know what you are going to need and then change the pickup and volume/tone knobs automatically on the fly. (Gibson thinks they are so smart just because their guitars can tune themselves with the push of a button. Ha! BFD.) ;P
