kidsmoke
so break it down for me. one shot vs something like Fretless just bought, shown here. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/28192-new-gator-board/?do=findComment&comment=392725 Is the one shot just shameless opportunistic pandering by bottom feeders for ignorant consumers...um...like me? fretless
hmm I'm not an expert but I think it has something to do with the isolated outputs on the Voodoolab , It keeps the pedals quiet and not draining off each others power which can cause strange noises . Beagle216
hmm I'm not an expert but I think it has something to do with the isolated outputs on the Voodoolab , It keeps the pedals quiet and not draining off each others power which can cause strange noises . That's why I bought the Voodoo labs stuff too. No more noise issues from them talking to each other. If a pedal is noisy, it won't correct that, but it avoids the bad things from stacking on each other and causing horrible noise without anything engaged. DetroitBlues
I have a One-Spot, and sometimes pedals transmits feedback through the power supply. This in turn gets picked up by the other pedals and causes noise. The One-Spot doesn't prevent this. To make matters worse, I also had a Boss DD3 Delay and when I plugged my Wah in (the wah was engaged/on), it caused a power spike and blew up my DD3. Isolated power supplies maintains clean power to the pedals and also prevent power surges into other pedals.
kidsmoke
ahhh!! This is consistent with what I'm getting. If the Wah is engaged....there is noise. In my case, it's last before the looper
rockabilly69
The one spots didn't work for me either, and even with the Pedal Train 2, I had some noise issues with My Boss RE20 Space Echo and my Dr Scientist Mini Reverberator. I just had to move the power supply lead for the Reverberator over one position and everything worked out. No problems since.
