Genericmusic Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 My dream guitar. Humor an old man I'm looking for some guitar porn to drool over.
MartyGrass Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I apologize for taking up so much space. This guitar is highly photogenic in the buff.
Genericmusic Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 Apology not necessary. Just drooling and dreaming. Really dig the 18".
hinesarchtop Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Looking at both of those guitars made me a little dizzy. Almost nauseous. I'm gonna go lay down.

Guitarbean Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I'll play...but I admit that I'm an offshoot of the Good Doctor, Mr. Grass...
MartyGrass Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I'll play...but I admit that I'm an offshoot of the Good Doctor, Mr. Grass... One of the finest Heritage ever made.
yuominae Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 They look like works of art. I'd be afraid to take one out of its case if I had one
Guitarbean Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 They look like works of art. I'd be afraid to take one out of its case if I had one No freakin' way. They're meant to be played and that's what I'm doing!!
2bornot2bop Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 hmmm....observe the back Maple pattern on guitarbean's superb HJS. Now, observe the Maple pattern used on a Heritage Super Eagle acoustic reportedly built from "premium woods." very Interesting...
Vanschoyck Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 The flame is always flamier on the other side of the the flame.
pressure Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Here are my Heritage Johnny Smith signature guitars. The first one I bought new in the fall of 1990 (Johnny Smith Sunburst with a Rambo #1 pickup - G07502 - October 17th 1990, a Wednesday. It was the 2nd guitar built that day)from Island Music in Island Lake, Illinois. That sunburst guitar was one of 2 Johnny Smiths they had on the wall, unusual guitars for Island Lake (small town and expensive guitars). The other Johnny Smith they had was in natural. The second Johnny Smith I have was bought this year from a seller in Boston, Massachusetts (Johnny Smith Natural with a Rambo #2 pickup - G07706 - October 15th 1990, a Monday. It was the 6th guitar built that day). I am guessing that this guitar, in natural, was the same guitar that was next to my sunburst Johnny Smith at Island Music in 1990. Thanks for asking.
Vanschoyck Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 It's your birthday; you should pick up the phone right now and buy yourself one!
Genericmusic Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 It's your birthday; you should pick up the phone right now and buy yourself one! I'll give Pressure or maybe MartyGrass a call and see if they wants to part with one of theirs. Looks like they have two many.
