I think I've just heard the P 90's for the G&L neck and the Chapman ML-1 Bridge. The hotter Arcane PX 100's are good but I prefer the sounds of the Throbak P 90's. Warmer, jazzier sound from Throbak's. Is it the magnets where they get that sound from? Lot of research into this because of the guitars need for higher output p/u's. I know the sound I want but its difficult to find.

Throbak's sound great, but are ridiculously overpriced, IMHO. They are like the Gibson Custom Shop of boutique pickups, haha.
