frankie5fingers Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Mine is noisy. I can't spray into the face plate so either way I'll need to unload the chassis to get to it; whether to clean or replace. Sooooo before I take the head out - anybody know what the pot is so I can buy one just in case cleaning doesn't cure the scratch? Thanks, Frank
TalismanRich Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Without taking my Patriot apart, I can't tell you. I have a picture of the pots, and they are all Alphas. Some are 10K, some 250K audio taper, but the mood one is out of focus. Its marked 4C2 on the left end. A couple of the other pots are also marked 4C2 A250K, so it MIGHT be 250K audio taper. The safest bet is to just open it up. It wasn't that much trouble.
ridethatbike Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I wonder if I could install one on my wife?

brentrocks Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I wonder if I could install one on my wife? ...but then you would have to worry about it collecting dust, getting scratchy, losing lubrication.....and then it might not complete the circuit anyway
