brentrocks Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 Thanks Paul. Did they do certificates with these? If so I didn't get one.
brentrocks Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 Already available used? Who gave it up? Yes! Can you believe it? I don't know who gave it up
brentrocks Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 I wouldn't. IMO a poker chip would make it look more like "G-brand" git. Good point
DetroitBlues Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I told Brent that I saw this exact one at PSP. Foolish me deleted the pics, but this one was in hardware/pickup installation room on the rack. I remembered it because I thought it was odd that No. 7 was still waiting to be buffed.... Can anyone dig through their PSP photos and look? I'm not having any luck.

smaj Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Those are great guitars, Joe's Music has or had a low number, and I played it for about two hours in his store, Fab to say the least. Now Brent, you need to get that rare Heritage amp he has.
barrymclark Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 That is truly beautiful, Brent. Although I'm not one for solid bodies these days but if I were this is definitely what I'd be after.
davesultra Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Thanks Paul. Did they do certificates with these? If so I didn't get one. Brent, I don't believe they issue any certifications with these. Mine was purchased new, and came with only the usual Heritage paperwork in the accessories compartment.
skydog52 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Thanks Paul. Did they do certificates with these? If so I didn't get one. No certificates issued.
kidsmoke Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Sweet! Waiting for that video...and comparing the very similar builds with modern P90's...The lollars and the Duncans. Congrats Brently!
Gianluca Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 if I'm not wrong, is that the 1st and only video review of a H157 Black Limited edition around as of now? congrats Brent, great guitar
brentrocks Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 I did a little tweaking on it this morning. I tightened the truss rod a bit. Adjusted pole pieces a tinge. I got it playing really nice. The G and B hang up in the nut a little. Hopefully some nut lube will fix that.

brentrocks Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 I can't wait for the workday to be over so I can go home and play at some more!

bsck1 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 It's so much fun to live vicariously through your videos! I think they help minimize GAS. Hah! Who am I fooling? I need to cancel my internet service quickly. What a beauty and what a great sound.
DetroitBlues Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Don't let Josh fool ya. He christened it in full form last night. He sent me a vid. He was tearing it up!!! I've been to a few PSP's now... I'm not the one who can tear it up... Medicority at its best perhaps... Here's what I sent Brent... I was playing straight into a Marshal DSL40C, no pedals. I was using the clean/crunch channel set to crunch. Switch from pick to fingers and back to a pick. No other adjustment were made other than my attack. http://youtu.be/Blij5-CJvQw

And I mean this in all the right ways: That thing sounds exactly like what it is! Man, would I love to have my way with that thing! For my money, coolest Heritage build, ever!
