Vanschoyck Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I remember your specs; should be a special one!
Gitfiddler Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Looking for the brown truck? Is he here yet?
Guest HRB853370 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 UPS and Fedex frequently send out fake tracking numbers at random, just to get people excited. Especially this time of year. Beware!!!
Vanschoyck Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Looking for the brown truck? Is he here yet? It's Nappa! Alright! Another Dragon Ball guy. I hope his guitar doesn't take as long as it takes Goku to show up for a fight.
TalismanRich Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I'm sorry, sir, but we have run into a little problem with your delivery......
DavesNotHere Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Are there any sweeter words in the English language than.. Out for Delivery..? I think not.... Congratulations!
peterbright Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Are there any sweeter words in the English language than.. Out for Delivery..? I think not.... Congratulations! Actually delivered is better.
Dick Seacup Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Actually delivered is better. Unless your wife was home and had to sign for it while you were at work and she didn't know you'd ordered something. That wouldn't exactly be 'better'. Not that I have any experience with that or anything.
jimsoloway Posted December 5, 2014 Author Posted December 5, 2014 FWIW, it should arrive in northern Washington next week an I'll have to drive down to pick it up. We're having some serious family issues here so it's going to take some creativity to get the time but if all goes well I hope to pick it up on Wednesday. It appears to be in Chicago now.
peterbright Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I'm certain that we will receive a full report as soon as possible.
jimsoloway Posted December 5, 2014 Author Posted December 5, 2014 You most definitely will Peter but unfortunately it may end up sitting in Washington for a few days while I deal with family issues here. It's been a very trying time with a lot of uncertainty.
peterbright Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Been there...hang in there Jim...family can be baffling.
jimsoloway Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Not baffling so much as both very old and very sick. We almost lost my father this week and my mother.
jimsoloway Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 The guitar is sitting at my US mail box provider's facility on the other side of the border, but it's going to have to sit there until Monday. My father gets out of the hospital this morning. He's 92 and I'm going to take him and my mother home to the Sunshine Coast and help get them settled for a day or two. I'd love to spend the weekend playing the new guitar but duty comes first and I'm going to be a responsible adult. Oh well, I guess the guitar will be just as special next week but I'm not all that good at deferred gratification.
bsck1 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Oh boy! Christmas a few days early! Best of luck getting your dad home. I'm sure you know how lucky to have both your parents with you. It's going to be a great holiday in the Soloway family!
jimsoloway Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 So the family drama is at least temporary resolved and Monday will finally be NGD. I'll have a full report for one and all on Tuesday after I;ve hd a chance to play it a bit.
