i love the fact that it was a short scale...nice guitar...i'm sure the new owner will be very happy.

 

i bet they didnt pay $6600

I'm guessing they paid somewhere around $5k.  It IS a nice guitar, though!

That guitar is stunning but I wonder if you spec'd out a 525 and told them to add the inlays, dark quilt back, tail piece, ect if it would cost half  because it was a 525 and not a Golden Eagle?

 

It looks more like the rim thickness of a 525 than an Archtop.

 

I very content with my Plain Jane (yea, right??!) 525. 8)

I kinda like the way the creme pups are offset by the black rings. Very nice touch. Not sure it commands a $6k price tag, or a $5k even. But then again, I don't play jazz boxes. Maybe it does. Not all that fond of the back, either. Doesn't seem to actually go with the front color scheme. Still, that top and hardware combo is killer.

That's the best Heritage 'eye candy' I've ever seen.  No wonder it's been featured here so many times.

 

Hopefully the owner of this very special Golden Eagle will pop in and give us a review.
