skydog52 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 With NAMM quickly approaching and the factory getting the models ready. Thought we could revisit this. Wonder if there will be some new things? https://www.namm.org/category/term/heritage-guitars
fxdx99 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Yeh, NAMM! Cool. Maybe a new model... the Smokestack.
skydog52 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 Looking forward to seeing what the boys and girl came up with on the 30th anniversary model.
HANGAR18 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 If they were going to have a 30th Anniversary model, you'd think they would have announced one by now! Sheeeesh!
kidsmoke Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Danny, they shared that they were working on the design last year. They're keeping it under wraps....building interest.
skydog52 Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 If they were going to have a 30th Anniversary model, you'd think they would have announced one by now! Sheeeesh! Stay tuned Danny. I've been hearing whispers.

HANGAR18 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Its a H 555 30th Anniversary. That is what I am betting on. I'm betting on a HANGAR18 Signature Model Flying V in Translucent Wine Red with rear body routing and cream binding.
skydog52 Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 With these artists there should be some Heritage Guitars on the stage. Heritage Guitar listed as one of the sponsors. http://allstarguitarnight.com/upcoming-shows/
kidsmoke Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Cool Paul, Thanks for sharing that. Interesting choices...no staple p90 limiteds, 157's otherwise. A 535 with no pickguard. What is the amp they chose there on the right? Great selection of finishes. looks nice.

skydog52 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Mimi Fox new model. http://www.mimifoxjazzguitar.com/ http://www.guitarplayer.com/artists/1013/mimi-fox-expands-jazz-guitar-from-the-inside-out/23662
Kuz Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Well, put Mimi Fox in the Robben Ford camp of Volume & Tone knobs all the way on. I go to say these are usually my default settings too, but I do move them slightly in the middle of a tune if needed. And her choice of TI Flatwounds is the same brand & gauge as mine. Why the hell can't I play anything at all like her, we have the same gear???!!!!! LOL!!! From the interview with Mimi that Paul gave the link to..... "How do you set the controls on the 575? I use the neck pickup and keep the volume and tone controls all the way up. What strings do you use on your guitars? I string my electrics with Thomastik-Infeld Flat Wound Medium Light sets gauged .012 to .053, and my acoustic with Martin Marquis Phosphor Bronze Lights gauged .012 to .054."
