hopkinwfg Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 how many do own if they do... and how is the tone like ?
davesultra Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 No they do not build any "V" or Explorer style guitars. Back in the '80s they did have 2 of their own pointy style guitars called the "Terminator" and "X-Terminator". They only made a very few of them.

I think Brent has had a Terminator and X-Terminator both. Maybe still does. Very rare.
DavesNotHere Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I think Brent has had a Terminator and X-Terminator both. Maybe still does. Very rare. I've had the "Henderson" X Terminator for nearly three years now. It is really a surprisingly comfortable guitar to play. I love it. Maybe we should start naming our rare Heritages after their most famous, or infamous if you like, owners similar to how the Les Paul guys do. On second thought, that may not be a great idea as they would all be the "Henderson H-xxx" It could become confusing.
DetroitBlues Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 The only X-Terminator I've seen in person is in the Rock N' Roll HOF...
C9Y Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 ask them about one of these: I did. Ren played one, with a different headstock, for a Bye Bye Birdie show. He wishes they still had it.
