I joined HOC and bought an H-575 from Tonedeaf last September. (Tonedeaf was great to work with.) I had intended to post as a new member when I bought it, but just didn't and then the site went dark ...

The H-575 is a wonderful guitar, and beautiful. It exceeds my skills. Tonedeaf's pictures in his posting are better than mine. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/27827-fs-heritage-575-asb/. A recent picture is attached.

Although I now measure my guitar experience in decades rather than years, I am fairly new to jazz - even light jazz. Still working my way through Arnie Berle's book of Chords and Progressions for Popular and Jazz Guitar, and applying the knowledge to a small group I play with locally. Mostly pop tunes from the 1920's to 1940's - think "Paper Moon," "Summertime" and "What a Wonderful World." At least the H-575 gets played every day, and my skills are improving.

And about 3 weeks after the guitar was delivered, I attended a wedding reception, and lo and behold, there were two guys playing great tunes, and one had a flat-top with a familiar headstock. He identified the guitar as a now-discontinued H-480. I had never heard of a Heritage flat-top before. Both players were exceptional. He gave me permission to post the picture on this forum.

So there it is. I am happy to be a part. And will eventually learn how to post proper pictures!

575s are awesome guitars. They'll pay back every ounce of effort you invest with interest.

She's a beauty; Congrats!
