samwheat Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I placed my order for a Cherry Sunburst with an AAAA top and other things with Jay Wolfe on 11-18-14. I was told that they received some top wood in but sent it back and that they want something special for my order. Monday I called and was told they are building it and it will be here in a month.
tulk1 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Didn't realize Heritage graded their tops like that. Should be a killer top if they do, considering what their non-graded tops look like. 30 days, eh? Good deal.
Spectrum13 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Oh boy NGD on the way. What else did you order on it?
bsck1 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Those folks sure spray a beautiful burst! Can't wait to see it fully appointed!
FredZepp Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Ha... you just know that you're going to make someone happy when you send THAT progress pic... My oh my ... what a stunner.
samwheat Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 I called Graham earlier today about where my guitar is or at least a pic of it. And he told me to call the factory. So I did and the first thing I said is when I ordered it and from whom and he instantly knew who I was and the specifics of my order ..... its in the shop and they need 2 weeks to snap a photo.
bolero Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 they must have one of those really old camera's, that takes a while
samwheat Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 I received a pic from Jay today and will have the completed in a month.
Millennium Maestro Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Judging by your +1. I think we all cant wait to see the final product! Its been a while in the works, Heritage has really awesome guitars coming out of the factory... Should be really exciting for you!
Kuz Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I received a pic from Jay today and will have the completed in a month. Good for you contacting Heritage and your dealer. There are some dealers that you need to frequently need to check in on to see where the progress is on your guitar. FWIW, I am not referring to the dealers that post frequently here on HOC. Some dealers do better a better job of keeping you updated than others...... at least this has been my experience.
