Thundersteel Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Another one on its way to me. I can't help it--it's a sickness! http://www.gbase.com/files/store_images/926/1931513/photo1_7866b-Original.jpg[/img] http://www.gbase.com/files/store_images/926/1931513/Photo2_8715c-Original.jpg[/img]
yoslate Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Not normally a fan of gold hardware, but it looks good on the '35 with the almondburst!! Nice one, T-steel! And I like the (fairly) new avatar! That's a Fab 150! I'm pretty green for that one!
OldCrow Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Gorgeous. I need me a semi-hollow Heritage...
shook494 Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I think I have to get one of those and see what all the fuss is about. I'm getting older and I need a semi hollow!
brentrocks Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Very cool...where did you score that? used?
SouthpawGuy Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Very sexy indeed ! The guitar of course ;D
Thundersteel Posted November 6, 2008 Author Posted November 6, 2008 Very cool...where did you score that? used? I found it on Gbase at Big Orange Guitar in Edgewater, FL. It's a used 2006 model. The seller says it is in mint condition except for a few minor surface scratches. I should have it by next week.
peterbright Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Still looking for one that I can play as well as IT looks.
cod65 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Another one on its way to me. I can't help it--it's a sickness! bah, beats the stock market and all it's foibles any day!
Spectrum13 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 T, I got my millie from D @ Big O. Great guy plus he has Ren make bone nuts on all his H guitars. They are set in and nitro covered which is a wonderfull touch. Tone report please!
Thundersteel Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 I got my millie from D @ Big O. Great guy plus he has Ren make bone nuts on all his H guitars. That is reassuring to hear. I'm always hesitant about buying an instrument without actually playing it first. D said the guitar was originally purchased there new, and was recently traded in on a different model. He said the previous owner barely played it. My sister-in-law went there to take more pics, and she said everyone there was really nice and friendly.
AnH555 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Nice going, Thundersteel. Even if you have very high expectations you'll still be blown away by it. That flamed neck looks particularly nice. Mine's an 06 as well. Still can't get over it.
Thundersteel Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Thanks everyone! It's a keeper for sure! Mine's an 06 as well. It turns out it's an '04, but it doesn't matter to me--it still looks like brand new!
