rockabilly69 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Hey, did Heritage ever build an acoustic guitar completely (not an archtop) at Parsons St, or did they always contract for bodies or necks or both and assemble them at Parsons St?
FredZepp Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 The H-480 and H-475 models ( HFT- on later versions) would be entirely made at Parsons Street ( and solid wood ). I believe the H-450 is also Kalamazoo made ( as it is solid wood ). It's the H-445 that has the Canadian made body. HFT-445 and HFT-475 models
rockabilly69 Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Thanks Mr Zep! I may have to start a search for a H450! I like the advanced jumbo - J45 style shape!
DetroitBlues Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 If you ever stop in at the Factory Dan, you'll find the tools for making the rims of the 450's and 475's lying around. Somewhere, I believe I saw a small stack of bodies too....
