RhoadsScholar Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Had some unexpected expenses crop up after I attained 'My Blue Heaven' . Lucky for me, the good doctor worked with me and I was able to acquire this unique heritage hollow body and relieve a lot of stress. Thanks Doc. It has a different vibe than the super eagle, but I love the appointments it has. Thanks to the good doctor and modern medicine, I feel a lot better. Took a few new pics today Here is a pic of some guy playing it. I am going to go see him at the motor city casino may 8th and see if I can get him to write on my pick guard.
GASguy Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Oh I remember that one, nice grab, congratulations!
DetroitBlues Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Looks like a larger headstock and a deeper body... Or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Either way, it's a beauty, congrats.

Yep, 3"" Deep, Larger Headstock, and 25 1/2 inch scale with the upgraded woods package. Love the added appointments to this one.
Steiner Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 You and the fine Dr. both have keen eyes. Nice snatch, Congrats!
schundog Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Wow! Beautiful. Oh, and George Benson should have YOU sign HIS guitar, Bob! Haha. Congratulations. I'm glad it all worked out for you.
fxdx99 Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Very cool guitar - Congrats! Like the thicker body, longer scale length uniqueness.
Gitfiddler Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Well done...again!! That's one of my all time favorites. Play it in good health.
Hfan Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 First off, glad you're feeling better. Sweet guitar for sure. I see two different bridges and pick guards in the pictures. Loks like one is an ebony bridge?
Stringman Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 They don't come any better looking than that guitar right there. Congrats on a fine instrument. Glad you're feeling better. Been there myself for the last few years. It's good to feel good.
tulk1 Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Too bad you had to settle for this one! ........ As stunning as it is.
RhoadsScholar Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 First off, glad you're feeling better. Sweet guitar for sure. I see two different bridges and pick guards in the pictures. Loks like one is an ebony bridge? Mixed some old pictures with the new. Has a bound mahogany pickguard and the TOM. Mark tried out the ebony and it turns out it is grounded from the bridge so it went back to a TOM when I acquired it. Been dialing this thing in and I like it. This guitar has the potential to cure GAS (realistically thought I probably need one more )
