FredZepp Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Is that the one with the natural wood binding too? Yes. Some call it a "scrape" binding. Other's call it a "masked" binding. I knew that I'd seen a solidbody with the natural ( or scraped ) binding .. I believe Arnie had it. I liked that feature. This pic shows the flame going into the binding a bit more....
FredZepp Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 This is somewhere in the gallery. Is it rude to call out one's own photo? Not rude at all.... I was searching for a photo also.... I loved that Custom 575.. And I see what you're talking about ... actual wood binding.. ( not the PRS type method ) another pic...
Ned Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Not seen that shot before. Thank you. You might notice she's gone from gold to nickel between our photos. She is still top of the heap around here. Great instrument.
neutria49 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 This is somewhere in the gallery. Is it rude to call out one's own photo? I can tell you that picture speaks to me. I saw it a few months ago when I was somewhere else.

Ned Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Agree. The string-through is a beauty. One piece mahogany body, as I recall

High Flying Bird Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 This is somewhere in the gallery. Is it rude to call out one's own photo? If so we will both be guilty. My life story.....
High Flying Bird Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Damn. I got to looking at this graphic and realized I took this photo in my garage with a Sony Mavica around 2000. My first camera. I had been laid off from my electronics job and learned how to use a computer. My girls were still in car seats. I bought a studio flash and a diffuser for it, a sync cord and adapter to connect with an optical flash slave - a white man needs a slave - and I was doing decent photography and graphic design less than a year since I started. I used a piece of kite repair tape to keep the on camera flash from showing up on the image. It worked pretty good for that camera.

FredZepp Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (Actually... I'd like to see a thread with a photo of every guitar Brent has ever owned. It's really amazing what has gone through his hands over the years..... Heritage, Gibson and others...) Back on topic..here's a pic of a special Heritage acoustic... And a H-150
HANGAR18 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (Actually... I'd like to see a thread with a photo of every guitar Brent has ever owned. It's really amazing what has gone through his hands over the years..... Heritage, Gibson and others...) We'd need a much bigger web site for that!
Gitfiddler Posted June 28, 2015 Author Posted June 28, 2015 Here's another favorite of mine from the HOC Gallery. Wolf's amazing assembly of Heritage Johnny Smiths.
big bob Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I like this one Brent took! http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/gallery/image/411-88-stat-dlx-hardtail/

barrymclark Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 This is somewhere in the gallery. Is it rude to call out one's own photo? Not at all. I loved this guitar. When I got my 575, I was torn between getting this one and the one I ended up with. Gotta say I am still torn. haha.
TalismanRich Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I still think KBP's 157 was the tops! What's not to like, from the inlays to the minibuckers and the cupids bow. Oh yeah, the figuring is kinda nice too....
