DetroitBlues Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I still think KBP's 157 was the tops! What's not to like, from the inlays to the minibuckers and the cupids bow. Oh yeah, the figuring is kinda nice too.... I have to agree, there is some thing special about that guitar. It looks much better in person.

brez9091 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Thank you all for sharing the photos, of your beautiful guitars. I just became the proud father of this one today. A cherry Golden Eagle, with a floating pick up. I was always a big fan of George Gobel, the comedian, and would lust after the cherry archtop guitars, which he played.

You could buy some really big pickup ring blanks or convert over some pickguard material. That's how I have this Seymour Duncan Firebird Pickup in mine..
Gitfiddler Posted July 10, 2015 Author Posted July 10, 2015 Just spotted this on the HOC Gallery...and had to cut n paste it here. This is SWEET!!
