The FedEx dude brought me this beautiful 1998 H 140 Custom today! Some of you prob saw it in the for sale section.

This 140 was upgraded with MOP traps and a premium top....it also sports a one piece back. Almond Sunburst finish. The neck is slim, like most H140/150s from this era. I cant tell is the fretboard it ebony ore rosewood...its pretty dark, but it has streaking in it.

Out of the case it looked incredible! I had already made some plans for this guitar before it arrived. I swapped out the Schaller hardware and pickups. I installed a set of SD Alnico II Pro Zebras, Sprague .022 caps and Nashville style hardware.

The guitar sets up beautifully!

Killer tone from a lightweight, florentine cut beauty!!!

Thanks Jmay for hooking me up with this beauty!!!

Very Nice. Your upgrades make this classic Heritage ready for rockin'.

It looks great and the trap inlays really complete the look.

Never been a huge fan of the Florentine cut H140s. But that one does look oh so classic. That's a nice guitar right there, Mr. B.

Oh, sorry, Brent. Maybe I'm a bit early.

Alnico Pro IIs sound great in the 140. That's what I put into mine. Nice choice.

I still think that the old H140s are super guitars, and can be a bargain.
