brez9091 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 After scrimping and saving, I was lucky enough to just purchase this beauty. I was wondering if anyone here knew how rare the cherry finish Golden eagle actually is. And if anyone here might possibly be familiar with this actual guitar. Once owned by a Tommy Martin. Thanks for any light you might be able to shed on the subject.
DC Ron Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Very nice. Vince Lewis' GE is appointed differently, but similar...
brez9091 Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 Thank you all. I guess the G.E. With a floating pu is pretty rare.
2bornot2bop Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Thank you all. I guess the G.E. With a floating pu is pretty rare. No, a floating pup GE is the most common GE to find. 90% of the GE's that appear on the used market are the floating pup version, in my experience.
RSquared Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Beautiful guitar. And Vince shows you how great they sound!
Hfan Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Yeah they are nice in red. I'd love an Eagle or similar one day. Love Vince, great generous guy. He is meticulous too..had a soft cover for his case even.

He is meticulous too..had a soft cover for his case even. That cover for his case is used by professional musicians to control the temperature inside the case. He told me what the tolerances were and how much it helped regulate the temperature change..... But I forget exactly the specifics.
