Gitfiddler Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I can't tell you how many times I've seen Heritage guitar owners put up their guitar for sale...only to pull it back off the market. I've done it a couple of times. Yes, I eventually sold or traded a few Heritage gits (Millie, 150, Sweet 16), but man, it was so painful! The ones that I had for sale, then pulled back were a 157 and 550. The 550 was a real tug-o-war. Loved that big blonde...pulled her off the market TWICE...before selling! I still have the 157!! Have you ever had Heritage guitar seller's remorse? What's YOUR story?
barrymclark Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Luckily, I haven't had seller's remorse on a Heritage yet. Man, I could see not wanting to let go of a 550. That is definitely on a short list of guitar wants.
Millennium Maestro Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 You will really have remorse IF you sell the 575! That was my buyers remorse... That I didn't buy!
DetroitBlues Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I would comment on here, but I think I've told my story one too many times.... Many different reasons, many different regrets.... All part of the day in the life of a perpetual G.A.S-aholic....
davesultra Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I typically don't regret selling any of the guitars I've owned. They always seem to be moved out to make room for a different one. I like to do that, as I don't believe there is that "one" guitar for me. However, the only one I wouldn't mind having back is the P90 loaded H150 that one of our mods currently owns.
Gitfiddler Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 You will really have remorse IF you sell the 575! That was my buyers remorse... That I didn't buy! LOL! Guy, that was a total impulse purchase made several years ago. When I first saw that very photo on Wolfe's site, I simply could not resist. And she ain't going nowhere!
RJLII Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I sold this H-137 to Brent as part of a gear sale/swap. In retrospect, I sure wish I hadn't. It was a fair deal, but I sure miss this guitar.
Vanschoyck Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 You will really have remorse IF you sell the 575! That was my buyers remorse... That I didn't buy! Is that a real guitar? Come on now!
barrymclark Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 LOL! Guy, that was a total impulse purchase made several years ago. When I first saw that very photo on Wolfe's site, I simply could not resist. And she ain't going nowhere! I did exactly the same thing with my 575. I saw it on Wolfe's site. Drooled into my empty wallet. I look at the guitar on Wolfe's site for a YEAR. I couldn't believe it was still there. I made some sacrifices to get that guitar. I still have it. haha.
tulk1 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Yeah, sure have. I had, according to Marv, a somewhat "rare" guitar in that it wasn't actually a prototype; just something they produced before they decided on the final design. It was a semi-hollow (not semi-solid) Millennium. Beautiful guitar. No access plates, true semi-hollow. Was ordered with piezo saddles, so it did a very bad imitation of an acoustic guitar. Had it at PSPI. That is one of two guitars I wish I had back.
tulk1 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Here's the Millie SAE in "action". More like stumbling action. Just as an FYI, Jon is playing his custom H150 Brazilian Rosewood with an early version of his pickups. http://eriador1.com/MillieSAE/kle-jon-jam.html

Gitfiddler Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Dibs on your 525 Tim! Duly noted, Dan. You looked good holding her...and sounded great. But if I sell it, I'll have a bad case of seller's remorse! :-)
tbonesullivan Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Not yet! I've never sold a heritage. The 4 that I have now are the same 4 that I've had for years now.
rwinking Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 After being here just a few weeks and being really knocked out by the Heritage stuff, i hope to never have sellers remorse as I don't plan on selling them.
DetroitBlues Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Not yet! I've never sold a heritage. The 4 that I have now are the same 4 that I've had for years now. You're an anomaly... I think you should be banned.

TalismanRich Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 I'm with TBone and Houndhome. All my Heritages are still resting comfortably at hme. They're like family.
Polo Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 The Brentrocks "regrets" collection above is mindblowing! Heritage can really prouduce somea amazing guitars!
RhoadsScholar Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Would love to get these back some day. http://i1152.photobucket.com/ I am blessed to have an American Eagle, Eagle Classic, Millies, 150, 137 and 170LW but you can never have too many Heritage guitars
