rwinking Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Not bragging or anything (yeah, right....), but I have a 1962 Epiphone Casino. It is older than the Beatles versions and has the old Gibson Headstock and not the longer one.I guess it would be like a Gibson 330 as it has P-90s but they are chrome. Also hollow body. I put it back to back with my newly acquired H-535 and they are pretty much exactly the same size. it is so cool that the Epiphone was built in the same place in Kalamazoo at 212 Parsons Street, like they are related or something. Is that anthropomorphizing or what? So my question is did or does Heritage have a version of this guitar? thanks rick
schundog Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Yes, the H-530. Just to clarify, the factory address is 225 Parsons Street. Pics of your old Casino would be very appreciated!
rwinking Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 I will see what I can do on the pix. I have owned the Casino for a long time and I had it rebuilt and refinished and it is no longer original except the Pup and electronics. I have different tuners on it also, but it is a truly amazing guitar. I will check out the 530's. They sound intriguing.
