Gitfiddler Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 "New Vintage" is a term I just thought of after playing a few of my Heritage guitars over this past Labor Day weekend. Each time I pick one up I have to take a few minutes to admire the work of the folks on Parsons Street. We are SO fortunate to play and own these "New Vintage" instruments made by the "Old Vintage" Kalamazoo guitar makers!

Gianluca Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 +1 @GitFiddler thanks for the pictures @FredZepp
Frank67 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Love it! Great guys there at Heritage. They live up to their companies name. For me it is the same - everytime I pick up a Heritage guitar I think "wow, that is how it feels when it is done right"
Vanschoyck Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I love that pic from '36; arch tops as far as the eye can see! Heaven, right?
schundog Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 As I put my 157 back on the wall last night, I did a double take at how beautiful the BACK of the neck is. This was after I was reminded of how much I love the neck carve. Great reminder, Tim!

To quote Bob Seger when he said at a Detroit Concert in 1977 "somebody told me that Detroit had the greatest rock and roll fans in the world, hell, I'd known that for more than 10 years". Same applies to Heritage guitars Tim.
bsck1 Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 +1 I get same feeling each time I invade one of these treasures. Man I hate autocorrect, and my inability to spot errors before I hit "post". Meant "uncase" not invade!
JeffB Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Man I hate autocorrect, and my inability to spot errors before I hit "post". Meant "uncase" not invade! Your 1st post made me laugh. Sounded like a Viking.
