jimsoloway Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Some day when I have a bit more money, I'd love to order a custom 525 with the same set up as my 575: 25.5" scale, chunky round neck, no dots, and a single neck humbucker. That would be the perfect mate to my 575 ... a thinner laminate body to reduce feedback, less acoustic tone but a bit thicker when it was plugged in. I think about this way more often that I'm willing to tell my wife but just the other day, out of the blue she said "I really wouldn't get all that upset if you decided you wanted another guitar".
Yooper Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 "I really wouldn't get all that upset if you decided you wanted another guitar". Another lucky fellow with a perfect mate. My latest obsession is also a 525, or maybe a 530, with P-90s.
Vanschoyck Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 That would be glorious! Would you get it with the stock bridge or floating?
Grambo150 Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 out of the blue she said "I really wouldn't get all that upset if you decided you wanted another guitar". Does she have a sister?
Gitfiddler Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Jim, you are a lucky man. Not only are you an excellent guitar player and builder, you've got an understanding wife! I'm certain when the time comes to call a dealer with your next custom H525 'Soloway Signature', it will be a special day for both of you.
