rwinking Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I bought my first two Heritage's last summer when I got an H-140 and an H-170. I fell in love immediately and thought to myself "Man, if these two are so great, I'll bet na H-535 will slay!" I waqs able to get one of this forum and it is another unbelievable instrument. So, let me just say that even though I have a buttload of guitars, I am not a collector, per se. I play them all, depending on the project. I have become enamored with the possibility of an H-137 and had some questions. How long have they been made? As a fan of funky older guitars (not beat up, but "well played....") do they come around much? I have looked at Reverb and Flea Bay and they all seem to be in the $2000 range but also fairly new. If they have been made a long time, are there older ones to be had and how much do they go for? thanks everyone rick
DetroitBlues Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 H-137 are near the $2k range new. Used can be around 1/2 that. They've been around for a long time too.
schundog Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 love it. Yep. I just stole that one and put it on my Facebook page.

They don't come up often, but keep an eye out, and you'll get one at a decent price. http://www.heritageguitar.com/models/h137tv_specs.html
ElNumero Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 They can typically be found in the $800 to $1000 range. If you find one for less than $800 it might be a little worn but that may be right up your alley. Mine was $900 and pretty pristine, with a little natural checking on the top. And my gosh, you indeed have a buttload of guitars!
rwinking Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Thanks everybody! Man, that would be great if I could find one for $800-1200! I will keep my eyes open, especially here.
