212Mavguy Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Not only a great looker, but can you imagine the stage impact of this one? The tones??? WOOOOOOOW!!!!!
Guitarbean Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 wow! is this a NGD or part of the inventory?
golferwave Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Simply awesome! The signatures in the inlays and with JP being there makes it the best anniversary model ever!
Polo Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Very cool Paul! Is this an actual limited edition run or just an ala cart special order thing? A limited run of 30 would be neat.
skydog52 Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 wow! is this a NGD or part of the inventory? Both. Might be a tough sell so I might keep it. Very cool Paul! With that said, sales have been slow. I ordered mine right after the NAAM show. It took awhile for the fretboards to get made. Understandably.

pressure Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Goes without saying but I'm going to say it anyway, somebodys got to, Fab H555.
bsck1 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Awesome Paul. Incredibly beautiful. Whoever grabs this one is going to be very, very lucky.
FredZepp Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Sweet ! I've got a video somewhere of Jim Deurloo holding one of these at the plant. He really seemed to be quite proud of these.... as he should. A great commemorative model and a richly satisfying instrument.
HANGAR18 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Does "difficult to sell" mean "way more expensive than usual"?
kidsmoke Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Does "difficult to sell" mean "way more expensive than usual"? I think "limited edition" usually = "limited appeal" in that as sweet as said thing may be, it's not going to appeal to as many as the benchmark equivalent of said model. That thing is gorgeous, but not everyone will want to drop an extra $XXX to have signature inlays, for example. Or consider the P90 loaded 157's that were produced. Awesome guitars, but they fill a smaller niche.
HANGAR18 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I love the guitar, but I'm done buying guitars just because I like the color or the rarity of the model.
skydog52 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 Does "difficult to sell" mean "way more expensive than usual"? Yes indeed Danny.

Awesome guitars, but they fill a smaller niche. I find the limited editions usually are a nice step up. I've got one of the LE Milles. It plays the same as a regular one, but it had some of the extra appointments that I like. If the 157s were lighter in weight (or if I were 30 years younger), I would probably have considered one, but with the aches and pains I have these days holding a 10+lb guitar just isn't in the cards. I have a 157 already, and as much as I like it, I would have to sit to play it any length of time. I'm not into buying guitars to flip, or as a pure collector. I buy guitars I want to play. Slowly though, I'm covering the bases pretty well with the collection I've got. That hasn't stopped me from looking, but it has made my buying habits a lot more selective. One day, the right guitar will show up and I'll go "sure.. why not!"
tsp17 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Holy crap! That is a beauty! +1. Fantastic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

schundog Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Beautiful guitar, Paul. Love the color. I don't know whether to say, "Good Luck With The Sale," or "Good Luck Being Able to Keep It Because It Won't Sell..." No wrong answer, there!!
