Rockrink Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I bought a new H170 about a year ago. Lately, it's been going out of tune on G and B strings. I recently put Cleartone 10s on it, and I used nut sauce on the nut. I'm wondering if the nut was cut for a different size string at the factory? Any other thoughts about what might be the cause?
Polo Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 They ship with GHS boomers 10-46. If you haven't already had the guitar professionally set up now would be a good time. While Heritage guitars themselves are typically superb works of art the setup and fretwork leaving the factory is notoriously atrocious.

DetroitBlues Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I have often heard that a setup is a great idea for new Heritages and have the tech give some emphasis on the nut.
