Polo Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Took the pup covers off one of my H-150's yesterday for a change of pace........I think I like it!
gspirro1 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Nice contrast with the other H150, beautiful flame, nicely done bursts! Sweet! How do they differ from each other in tone and/or playability? Sent from my LG-V400 using Tapatalk
Polo Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Nice contrast with the other H150, beautiful flame, nicely done bursts! Sweet! How do they differ from each other in tone and/or playability? Sent from my LG-V400 using Tapatalk THANKS! Even though both guitars are essentially made up of the exact same components (materials, hardware, electronics, strings, ect.) they are quite different sounding in tone. The guitar on the left (sans) has a darker tone and is more resonant than the right. It's physically my favorite to play since the neck is a a bit chunkier. The guitar on the right is bright and nasty. It's the equivalent to a surgeon's scalpel and is the guitar I'd bring to any "burst" off. It's a very special guitar.
Kuz Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I am 100% covered 100% of the time..... But..... The cream bobbins with cream rings with cream G style guard looks awesome!!!!!
yoslate Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Took the pup covers off one of my H-150's yesterday for a change of pace........I think I like it! Damned near perfect figure in that top!!
Kuz Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I would like to this this with all black (switch, ring, and knobs) or as is with clear knobs
kidsmoke Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 my 535 came coverless, as appointed by Ed Roman. Just didn't seem right. I won't pester you with more photos of her now.... My RS-2 is and forever will remain coverless. This guitar has such bite and snarl, a bit hot. It's very own voice.
Polo Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Damned near perfect figure in that top!! Thanks Rob! This is the guitar I'll only pull out for the big numbers at the big venues. IE: I-VI-V jam tracks in Bm on various chairs and or couches. Sweet guitars fellas! Thanks for posting.
myoldfriend Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Took a few years to find "that tone" in my head: almost 11lbs of H150 plus a set of SD Custom Shop 'Greenies'.
Genericmusic Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The cream bobbins with cream rings with cream G style guard looks awesome!!!!!
