rwinking Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 So I bought this wonderful Chestnut Burst H-150 that I discussed in another thread.....Great shape and all for only $800. I pulled the pick ups as the previous owner said that he thought the pick ups were "Duane Allman Pick ups." All I see on the pick ups is "F Neck" and F Bridge." Any thoughts?
davesultra Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Could possibly be the Jim Wagner Fillmore pickups set. If they are, then $800 is a mega score for that combo!!!
rwinking Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 No pix as guitar is put back together. The Dimarzio's always say Dimarzio on them, as I have a few of them.. I am thinking that as this guy said that they were Duane Allman Pups, the F would stand for Fillmore Neck and Bridge. That makes the most sense. they do sound great and Yep, $800 for a beauty of an H-150 w/ these Pups is a steal! I am working on some guys CD and I did a tune this morning tuned open E for slide and it has a nice fat tone!
rwinking Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 OK, I was able to get a shot of the PuPs. I tried attaching it to this post. We'll see if it happens.....
rwinking Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 Finally photobucket is working for me! Anyway, here are the PuPs:
Millennium Maestro Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 No clue here! The most important thing is if you like them or not!
Kap Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Yes they seem to be the Jim Wagner set, the markings in the side (one red, the other blue) is/was how the WCR Pups were identified. Crossroads had, I think dots?

Crossroads had, I think dots? I agree. Those are WCR buckers by Jim Wagner. Great pickups. You got a great deal.
rwinking Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 Thanks everybody! Also, take note that I figured out what I was doing wrong in Photobucket (Files too large....) and now I can post pix of my heritage geetars in the future.
