PunkKitty Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 I found one of my dream amps for about as much as a MIM Strat would cost. This is a GREAT amp.
JohnCovach Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 I've had a couple of those over the years. The chorus is superb.
kidsmoke Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 one of the all time benchmark amps. Very cool. Do these things take pedals well?

DetroitBlues Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 You know it's a beast of an amp when it's assembled by rivets!
CJTopes Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 You know it's a beast of an amp when it's assembled by rivets! A friend of mine has a JC120 since 1984. Once after rehearsal he rolled it out to the back of his car and forgot to put it in the trunk. Soon after he started his car and ran it over. The car was actually sitting on top of it. Accept for a few scratches there was no real damage. (It's the only amp he ever owned and still gigs with it) Tough amps for sure!!!!
Tim Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Great Amp! I'd own one but i have the (somewhat smaller) JC 77 due to space considerations. Great amp for clean jazz tones and take on pedals very well. I am one of the few out there who still love the sound of a clean, neck pickup jazz sound through a chorus and the JC series Rolands definitely deliver. I currently use my JC77 with my Blues Junior (the A side of my rig...the B side being a Swart AST) and love the tones I get. Congratulations! Sure wish they had pawn shops like that around here...
barrymclark Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Had one and they are for sure great amps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
