mars_hall Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Not sure if this once belonged to the venerable colleague from Ohio, but she has all the markings of a winner.... She loses the faux pickguard the moment the case is open.
Millennium Maestro Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 That is really really sweet. that top has choice quilt, ebony board, abalone inlays, bound Headstock, Inlayed veneer, sperzels and a stinger. I CALL THAT A SCORE! Congrats PS. I have a clear pickguard that would let that top show through.....
tbonesullivan Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Why isn't that a H157CM? Either way, that thing is SWEET.
DOGBOY Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Wow that has all the bells and whistles, very nice. I like Guy's clear pick guard idea with that top, congrats!!
Steiner Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Magnificent. If she sounds half as good as she looks, you've won. Nice snatch!
Gitfiddler Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 That is one pimped out 150! Play it in good health.
Vanschoyck Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Over the top top. Good call on the pick guard too.
Millennium Maestro Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Nice snatch! That snatch is sooo sweet, I got a sugar rush from all the honey!
TalismanRich Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Sweet, all the appointments of the 157 except the gold hardware and the multiply binding. The quilting looks really 3D on it!
Rod Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 That's a special one. Obviously a custom build. Is there a story to go with it?
schundog Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Wow, congratulations, Mark! I love to see monster guitars reach the hands of monster players. I've never seen colorful abalone inlays like that on a Heritage. Looks great. Enjoy it!
