When I talked to Marv in November he had a list of 357 builds that he stated would take a minimum of 2+ years to complete them at best... As we stand currently I have told customers that I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY WILL GET ONE BUILT IF PLACED ON THE LIST.

I was just thinking about this topic today actually. I had been, and am still contemplating whether I was going to move my H357 or keep it. After hearing that Marv had a stroke, I wondered if he would be hanging it up.

Maybe I should play mine more. I have been thinking about selling it to somebody who played more than I do. I hardly pick up a guitar anymore.

My two happiest days were like the boat, day I bought it and day I sold it . . .

Post em if you got em to sell.....I know of two cats here in Detroit currently looking to buy a H-357.I might be a third.

Spoke with Marv a couple days ago and he has 2 more in process for our shop. He says he may complete them this year, but he may not. I told him it's ok either way. He hopes to return to the shop to "supervise" and teach in the coming weeks, on a part time basis as he feels up to it. Great to hear his voice clear & strong.

Good to hear that Marv is improving. He deserves time to take it a bit easier. He also needs to pass the 357 mantel on to Arnie or Pete. It could still be very limited edition guitar... special order only type of thing.

I just found out last night that there may be a 357 coming up for sale soon.....one of the early second edition 357s.....I wish I could afford it

I'm glad that Marv is recovering, first of all. And if he has any plans to continue working at Heritage in any capacity, that's a good thing!!!

Thanks for the update.

That's sad to hear about marve , I hope he takes his knowledge and teaches a few workers ,of the old world ways of making a guitar . Isn't that why they call it the heritage guitars?

you still selling your blue one

I dunno. I hold back every time I play...plus I've unloaded some gear (but could unload more). We'll see...mine weighs just a hair over 7lbs, which is a feature I truly love.

PLUS ITS PELHAM BLUE!!
