SouthernCanuck Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 Another model that is not actively offered anymore, You can still spec one out but it will no longer have the LTD Ed. serials, the late great Floyd was the employee that tracked this Model and that information has been lost, Cherish your little hottie this was in my opinion the best 150 model through the entire 25+ year run. You have inspired me to a start a share your Deluxe thread! That's neat! So it is likely that Floyd Newton painted and numbered this guitar. Thanks for filling me in on a little piece of history... holyroller Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I was taking to dealer .He said that they gave heritage a try at first , but there lack of detail and quality work they had to stop selling them. He also stated that with the history between Gibson and heritage it would of been great to have both , but they dropped the heritage line. They still are a active dealer but heritage doesn't come up . If he could see it now ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doug Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I still have an old heathkit solid state guitar amp. The tremolo no longer works and I never use it, but I keep it for sentimental reasons.

I think the kit my Dad built was the TA-17 Combo-Amp Head --- and then he built a giant 4x12 cab! 120W if I remember correctly - we used it for guitar and vocals. S_C
Rod Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Very nice! From what I've read, this was a limited run of 250. Interesting that yours and the others at the same shop were so near the apparent end of the run. Wonder if the previous shop owner ordered all the rest of them (through #250). Are these NOS?
SouthernCanuck Posted March 31, 2016 Author Posted March 31, 2016 I don't know if the 150 Deluxe production was limited to 250 guitars --- it sounds more like Floyd Newton just kept numbering them in consecutive order as they were requested/built. The three Deluxes at Musicland were/are all NOS, #235, #238, and #248. S_C
