My congratulations to all the fine folks at Heritage and wishes for a productive and prosperous future. I play my custom Heritage every day and I've probably never had a guitar that I've been happier with (and that includes the ones built by my own company). There's magic in this box.

This is an incredibly cool statement. Made me smile.

Doesn't a signature artist mean they have their own designated model? Where's the Frankie Ballard 157?

How about a Frankie Ballard 357?

Steve, feel free to send any guitars through Alabama. I will test them out for you. ;^)

The real irony lies in whos hands are holding that guitar....ill give you 3 guesses :icon_scratch:

I'd wager Jim. Primarily because the two photos were side by side in the news article.

In the photo "Guitar With Hand," there appears to be a solid, dark colored sleeve extending to cover the wrist of the disembodied hand. Looking at the picture above, I'd wager it's the hand of whoever is wearing that sport coat on the right. Jim has short sleeves, the other two have long sleeves but they're plaid.

Unless that dark colored sleeve is a trick of light and shadow. Then I retract my bet.

Ha... love it. "Hand Detectives" .. in the latest episode, we get closer to discovering the real identity of the disembodied hand at the old Heritage plant...

We now have four guesses...

Archie would be the fifth.

Kinda sad JP and Marv are not in this pic. Time marches on....

Yes... and also Ren was there , but wasn't mentioned. He is an iconic personality at Parsons Street.

He has the best stories, it was great the year that he lead the factory tour.

Ren indeed. Perhaps he took the photo? He's a good photographer & shot most of their early catalog pics.

Honorable mention because NOTHING happens until someone makes a sale:

* Lane Zastrow sold the vast majority of Heritage's at wholesale for 3 decades.

* Yours truly sold the vast majority of 'em at retail for 3 decades

* Sue Zastrow ran so many NAMM Booth's desk for decades and was the face of Heritage at those events

* Terry Haselden was Heritage's UK Distributer in the early days & did a bang up job.

* Roy Clark, Henry Johnson & Johnny Smith believed in them early on and put their good name on the line

Nothing happens until someone makes a sale......nothing.

They should be in it . There the pillar of the company . The new guys better not get to puffed up. They are the foundation if not the heritage guitar company .
