DetroitBlues Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Good. I don't look good in diapers. Guess it "DEPENDS" on who you ask!
DetroitBlues Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 All jokes aside... Never noticed the mismatched covers until you pointed them out on the 575. As far as the 157 Custom goes.... I think the FACTORY should buy it and use it as a display to point out the potential a custom order could have. Have it in a 360 degree glass display case to highlight all the beauty of the guitar.
tbonesullivan Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 If there comes a day where a guitar has exactly matching cream binding, pickup rings, switch tip, etc, I think the world would end.
RhoadsScholar Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 It sure feels nice to get something back you wish hadn't got away. I have experienced that several times. Nice going Brian. It matches your 5E3 cabinet well. that would make a great picture.
golferwave Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Congrats on the return of that fantastic Heritage. I'm sure you'll not let it go again ... Enjoy!
mad dog Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 That is one handsome guitar you have! I can understand how good it would feel to have the 575 back. I play my blueburst 575 every day and remain amazed at what a fine instrument it is. MD
Blunote Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Glad you got the 575 back. What about the 157? A work of art fashioned by Mother Nature, and the boys (and girl) at Parson St.
ElNumero Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I hope I get my old Neptune 575 back one day from California.
holyroller Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Totally love the Cupid's bow !!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tsp17 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 late to this party, but well done Brian! That is a wonderful instrument. Glad it found its way home.
Hfan Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Nice to hear from Brian, and I hope the recovery is well under way. That is a nice 575, looks like my Golden Amber one a little. Check out e bay for pickup rings, lots of cheap ones and get the flat bottoms then stick a piece of sandpaper on the arched top and sand the bottoms to fit, get a few pairs even in case you screw one up like I did ha ha. A trick I learned form H (Howard) a fine UK member who I have not heard from recently. Howard, you still kicking around here?
