A775AC7E-7BEA-46A1-9EB0-9BB9EB4081C5_zpsSo first I had the standard knobs on them . Then the solid black speed knobs , I had these sitting around . What do you think ?

I think I like the originals best.

But, I'm confuddled. I thought you sold that guitar. To Brian, I thought.

Am I mistaken, or did you buy it back?

Yes I did , but asked him if he ever sold it if he would give me first shit at it. I was in bad financial state but as time went by a few friends helped me out getting the guitar back . That guitar and I have way to much history and not having the best feeling and playing guitar I have ever owned.it was the one that got away . So , I asked Brian would he still honor that deal . He said yes then I kept pestering him about it .he reluctantly sold me the guitar back . I felt like such a ahole . I still do to this day . I play her 3-5 hours a day,and I thank him every time I play. They will bury me with the heritage . Publicly I would like to say Brian is a first class good guy!! I was in trouble and he helped me out . I just can't thank him enough. I just had major spine surgery and in a few weeks I will have major back surgery .so I am financially in very bad shape but I am keeping the only jewel I have . My guitar keeps me sane . Thank you Brian ..... I like first knobs .. What about the black rings?

Yep. Brian's a prince.

Knew that.

And I like the black rings best with that purple burst.

Terry, no worries. Like I told you, it obviously meant a lot more to you than it did to me. I'm glad you are enjoying it again. Good luck with your upcoming surgery!

I prefer the white rings and original gold knobs, very sweet guitar! Good luck with your surgery

Best of luck with your surgery!

Change the knobs and p'up rings every few months. Keep it looking fresh and slightly different.

With the obvious sentimental connection you have with that instrument, it will be like a girlfriend who changes her look once in a while...just for you.

Great looking guitar. I prefer the solid black. All looked good, just my preference.

Good luck with your surgery!

For me, I prefer the black speed knobs. But YMMV.

I never like the reflector knobs. I also thought they looked cheap. Again, just my opinion.
