goSteelers Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I run a stereo setup, and I am considering using an analog delay on one side of the stereo to get a fuller stereo sound -- 15-25 ms, perhaps a (very) little detuning or modulation. Keeley makes a pedal specifically for this, a "30ms Double Tracker", but I am trying to stay all analog, with no tone modification at all, if possible -- perhaps something like the Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail, where I can get 100% wet signal out of it. But I have never used an analog delay before -- my question is, with an analog delay, can I expect to get full bandwidth out of the delayed signal? That is, will the tone be affected in the processed signal (other than the delay / detuning)? Any experience / opinions? Thanks, MK
LK155 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I use a Carbon Copy Analog Delay pedal. For everything. All the time. Superior to the reverb in my Vibrolux. The CC adds delay, nothing else. No degradation of the signal at all. You might say I'm a fan.
