Tim Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Was comparing my H550 to my newly purchased D'Angelico EXL 1. Both are beautiful guitars, but I think the 550 wins out only because I think the EXL 1 needs just a bit more push on the floating pickup (acoustically though, the EXL gets the trophy). May change out the floating pickup for another jazz p/u. Anyway, thought the pic was cute...nice, against the backdrop of my Memorymoog

DavesNotHere Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Quite a nice pair. You can't go wrong with either one of those babies
High Flying Bird Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 They may have both come from 225 Parsons. If for any reason you don't like the 550 send it to me. I will thank you.

Yes, the Memorymoog is mine. The other keyboard is a Sequential Circuits Six Track...similar to a minimoog but polyphonic.

Fantastic, Let's hear some material that's come out of that labyrinth I think you and I need to get together and makes some noise together considering we're literally like 15 minutes away from one another. Glad to see you posting on the regular again Tim!
