Both are beautiful guitars, but I think the 550 wins out only because I think the EXL 1 needs just a bit more push on the floating pickup (acoustically though, the EXL gets the trophy). May change out the floating pickup for another jazz p/u. Anyway, thought the pic was cute...nice, against the backdrop of my Memorymoog :)

Thanks Bolero! Yes, the Memorymoog is mine. The other keyboard is a Sequential Circuits Six Track...similar to a minimoog but polyphonic.

Fantastic, Let's hear some material that's come out of that labyrinth

 

I think you and I need to get together and makes some noise together considering we're literally like 15 minutes away from one another.
