Yep, that one is pretty dreamy!

 

Looks like it could have been an inspirational factor in the new LE H-157's.

I think that folks here offered to chip in to help him keep it, but he had a baby on the way and felt it was best to turn the guitar into hard cash.

 

It was one of my very favorite guitars among those owned by HOC members. I saw that maple top during a factory tour while it was still an unfinished, uncut blank. The grain really popped out with a little water back then and I enjoyed watching it become a real guitar. Even had the opportunity to play it over at Greg's (Steiner).

 

Sure would like to see it back in the fold.

That is one drool-worthy guitar. I had the distinct pleasure of accompanying KBP810 and Mrs. KBP810 to Kalamazoo to receive it. We had trouble believing that was his guitar. We drove out of Kazoo feeling like we had just robbed a bank. And rightfully so!

It's still within the HOC family; I never would have let it go to an outsider.

 

I'm not going to go into detail on why I sold it, I can just assure you it was not a decision that I came to lightly.
