Newbie Question

Ok ,, to much history with this guitar, but the house payment was made. I kept looking at her , and it killed me to see it up forsale. I just want my baby back home!! Never ever to let her go . I called and talked to Ben at cream city, and he was all for me getting it back. He read the post on the forum and didn't want to look like a dick. He had one call but never called back.ben said that he was told the neck was broken or something like that he could totally remember. He agreed to hold it for me on s lay away plan , I have alittle ,but with my health I can't work like I used to plus I am going to have another operation. Somehow I have to get her back and never sell it. Thanks to who I sold it to here on the forum and even more of a thank you when you let me have her back . Last chance to get and keep her. If anyone wants to help out call cream city and ask for ben. He will put the money on the guitar. Thanks .

Have you checked into SSDI? It takes a couple of years to get through the process. I had to go on it because of my psych problems. It pays the bills so I'm not complaining.

I signed up for ssi but was turned down , but here that's normally. Thanks

So just to clarify, and to make sure I understand this clearly.... You are asking for donations to buy your guitar back?

Posted

why don't you call your police officer pal, and get him to help you out again?

better yet, threaten the guitar store by impersonating an officer ( again ) and see if that works in your favour?

Your sickness a doctor can't treat. When I sold the Firebird I said that I held the right to refuse selling to anyone. I was thinking about you Holyroller. If I were a moderator this would be your last post here.

As long as y'all don't strap on the spurs, this is a nice break from the day-in/day-out routine around here. Kinda reminds me of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman in an exaggerated reality, gotta dream to keep going movin' kind of way.

Wow. The harshness I'm reading here amazes me.

From what I can see, HR has fallen on some hard times and is trying to keep some sense of normalcy in his life. It happened to me too. Sometimes, playing guitar is all that I could do to get through it.

I was able to rebuild my collection, and in some cases, buy instruments back that I once had to sell, thanks to the people on this forum. But it made me realize that guitars are only things that can be replaced. I also realize that the rug can be pulled out from under me at any time. I'm stable now. But I don't know what's going to happen a year from now.

I'm not in a place that I can afford to help HR out right, now even though I'd like to. I don't know what your financial situations are like. But it's not a good idea to piss on those less fortunate than you. Life is too fragile.

HR, I hope things get better for you and that maybe the 150 will come back to you someday. If not, there are other used 150's.

As for the rest of you, please try to have some compassion. We are going through turbulent times. Let's not make this harder on everyone than it has to be.

Let me get this correct. You need an operation? You are not able to work at your job, and are therefore worried about how to pay for your mortgage? And your asking people to help buy you a guitar? The same guitar you busted Pete Moreno's ass about for almost a year, the one you returned to him, and then when you got it back sold right away?

Is that about right?

WOW!

That's not the story at all there's slot more to it . But neverthe less I will get it back on my own .

I'm kind of liking this thread! It has a lot of mystery and drama. Maybe Netflix might pick it up?
