rwinking Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 The Stat makes an appearance around 2:30 for a solo.
Polo Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Bless your heart! How on earth did you come upon this discovery?
Yooper Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Outstanding Samba/Fusion solo, my good man. And the scenery...lovely as well.
FredZepp Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 That looks a lot like our own John Covach in that video..... ! ??
rwinking Posted December 11, 2016 Author Posted December 11, 2016 It was pretty easy to find the video as that is me on the Stat. I love the sound and feel of that guitar!
JeffB Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Nice! Youve got some great chops going on. Im going to steel that lick between 2:34 and 2:37 first and then come back for the rest later. I liked the vocals as well. Nice work all round.
LK155 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Agreed. Good song, very tasteful solo. Fluid, inventive, and appropriate to the song. Really well done. I'm quite envious of folks who can play like that, seemingly without effort. (Jeff, you may already know this, but the secret to stealing, er, borrowing, licks from YouTube is to play the video at half speed--in the settings thingee, change the speed from Normal to .5)

golferwave Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 That's some fine music, and the Stat really sings!
