JeffB Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I cant think of one. Im not sure it matters. Theyre all pretty cool. If the time comes to just have the one, maybe I will just sell them all and buy a new one. There are still a few I want to try but at this stage its just about the style of them and not the sound. They all sound great. Reality though, the one I have to keep is not one I like. I did like it. Loved it, to death. Its worth nothing, its not nice, just a worn out, broken 90's strat. I dont like playing it, reminds me of an old friend you knew long before their drug habit destroyed them.
Gitfiddler Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Methinks we've managed to derail this topic a bit. Back to the subject. I'm reconsidering....this might be my last one out the door......... What a great photo! Oh, and that Millie is pretty darn great too.
LK155 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Thanks, Tim. That shot (and plenty of others I've posted here) was courtesy of son Chris. If I remember correctly, he took that one in a totally dark room, with a very long exposure, and only a hand-directed flashlight for illumination, a technique I had not seen before. Seems to have worked. I've had the Millie over ten years now. It was the first really good guitar I bought after deciding to start playing again following a decades-long hiatus. It's still a winner.
