DetroitBlues Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Guess I've been on a bit of a spending spree. Probably shouldn't be, but I am.... Just bought another Quilter Amp... This time, its the size of a Boss pedal. 45 Watt Amp, three controls. Gain, Tone, and Master volume. Tried in on a 2x12 amp, it sounded really good. Very clean sound with the Master volume turned all the way up and the Gain under 12 o'clock. Turn up the gain and volume significantly increases to ear bleed mode and the crunch is sublime. Ran effects through it and it was fantastic. I couldn't tell it was a tiny, featherweight pedal amp. Sounded like a tube amp to me. It will be perfect for use on a pedal board as either a backup or primary amp. No effects loop, but it does have a 1/8" line in and 1/8" line out. For $150, it costs less than most boutique pedals and a fraction of most amps, tube or solid state. Most Quilter products are made in the USA, but this one isn't. At this price-point, I'm not surprised. Well worth a look gents. I'll bring this amp to PSP along with my other Quilter.
DLDTEX Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 I am also liking the Microblock 45. What other Quilter amp do you have? I am sure you reported on it before but I must have missed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
