Special Ren guitar?

I was looking at the Gear page when someone posted this rare bird from Gibson. Didnt think much of it until I saw the name on the input jack. Anyone know ith that is the same Rendal Wall? Is there an interesting back story to this?

That is one strange bird, indeed. Doubtful there is more than one Rendal Wall that worked for Gibson. Gotta wonder what he was thinking.

Heritage should issue it as a special limited run "Rendall Wall" signature model

 

although with all that wood on the headstock it probably dives a lot....is that a strat pin I see on the HS?
