Gitfiddler Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Early Heritage guitars had fairly thin neck profiles, then they thickened up a bit in the early 2000's IIRC. However, I've played many Heritage gits over the last 20 or so years, and the neck carves have been all over the place...from slim, to medium, to chunky. Also some nut widths have varied from guitar to guitar. I realize that all Heritage guitar necks are hand rolled, but are today's profiles a bit more standardized? If so, what is that standard? Also, have nut widths been standardized? Not referring to custom spec guitars...just the run of the mill, off the shelf models.
DetroitBlues Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 I've heard they may be using templates now, but I cannot confirm.
