The H-170 and H-140 are no longer production models... What does that mean?? I think they will do anything if the price is right. When I asked I was told they had not built any in forever.... I ordered a stupidly pimped 170 AAAAA one piece top and a Pimped 140, I believe they were both the last ones.

Personally I loved both models!

dropping the H170 is a big mistake, IMO

there is always room for a double cut solid body

The new corporate business model is probably this: We will continue to build what sells very well, and not build what does not sell very well. That is not necessarily a bad business model in terms of maximizing profitability. Now whether they will continue the tradition of being a "custom shop" which they were under the old regime, remains to be seen. Could Spectrum13 order and have built another tricked out 147 like he did a few years ago? Who knows. Perhaps at the right price, but its definitely going to be much higher than what he shelled out a couple years ago for that sweet guitar.

Dropping the H-110 was a mistake in my opinion. I sold a few and everyone that got one absolutely

loved them. Lightweight very resonant axes.

Hopefully they will come up with something close to that model.

I personally think the H170 and H137DC are FUGLY.

But with respect to my HOC brothers and sisters., there is a huge fan club here.

Perhaps Heritage is sticking to more familiar design cues from their competition?

The H170 will be missed. I did wish it had a bit of a more low profile neck joint.

The H110.. I'm sorry but the upper horn is UGLY. It just looks totally out of place.
