Hfan Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Congrats to Cajun and a good story. I admire your discipline, owing over 100 guitars but never over 8 at one time. A great way to try a bunch out and find out what you really love. A trick I should learn. Regarding the pics, open a photobucket or similar account then copy the links here with the postcard looking icon tool.
deytookerjaabs Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 In retrospect.... I think perhaps the best way to cut costs without scraficing quality would be to take the 150 use the 140 body thickness....Drop the weight, not the sustain. No more weight relief required.... You're not going save much at all on two respective mahogany body blanks of that width if they're both 1 piece. The width effects the price quite a bit more than thickness, a 2 piece back on an H-150 would be a cheaper option.
cobo Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Another one I probably should of kept, but it went to a much better home... That's her alright! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FredZepp Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 First generation 140's are a unique pleasure to play. This one has old DiMarzio pickups and it rocks..

Most are two pieces these days on Heritages. One piece is an expensive upgrade. Even Gibson opaque finishes hide the three or more....
