New Heritages Observations

Went to a new(er) Heritage dealer today, unbeknownst to me.

Rock City Music Company in Livonia, http://www.rockcitymusicco.com

Several years ago, it used to be Blues Airmen Guitars in Garden City. I knew they moved, but didn't know they changed names.

They were one of the best consignment shops for guitars and amps. Bought my old Traynor there.

Now it seems they have become a regular retail store, particularly with Femder.

Gretsch and Fender guitars everywhere.

Then I spotted two H-150's. Nice Goldtop and Vintage Sunburst.

I was really surprised to see they both were "stock" guitars, but both had one piece backs and rather chunky '59 C profile necks.

Sounded and played great, really like the new "standard" features of the H-150's.

Perhaps a stock H-150 may work for me in the future...

In fact, their website has the pair of Heritages I played if you look close in the first picture on their website.

There appears to be a 575 and 137DC, but those are gone...
