Kuz Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Yea, that kid might make something of his himself someday...
Yooper Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 I had the pleasure of sitting a few feet from Mr. Burrell playing with a trio in a small room. He brought to my ears the most transforming, soulful, and beautiful sounds I have ever heard from a guitar. I second Rob's praise. None better, unequivocally!
bolero Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 nice!! apparently I have used up my allotment of "likes" today, it will not let me "like" that post....but I like it, alott
Kuz Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 The antithesis of Al DiMeola? (and I really do like Al D, especially his acoustic & nylon string playing). Why isn't Mr. Burrell wanking in a blitz of 16th & 32nd notes? Oh, because he really does have something to say, he really does concern himself with melody & class. EACH NOTE MATTERS. The Greatest...unequivocally! I concur as well!!!
