I got an email from Heritage, and there was a link to this article. I had a chance to talk to her at PSP last year.  She seemed like a nice person.

I got that too, Bill. Good of them to highlight her story, even though we all know the ORIGINAL "Heritage Girl" is Katie!

Shaway was very nice, and was obviously passionate about her work at Heritage. It's great to see the next generation carrying the torch forward.

Nice email from Heritage.  Keepin the spirit alive.

Also, congratulations to Shaway Bene-Ellison for being featured in "Guitar Girl" magazine.  I'm sure her story resonated with the young readers of that magazine, but as stated, Katie is the HOC's first 'Heritage Guitar Girl'. 

Shaway continues the Heritage builder's legacy of Katie, Maudie Moore and Lisa Barrett.

Just read it tonite on my phone as the Patriots were holding off the Steelers (Go Patriots). Very impressive, what a gal with great aspirations!
