kennyv4 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 I've been in Florida a couple of weeks now escaping the cold and snowy weather up north and I visited Wolfe Guitars in Jupiter, something I have done the last several years. I was going to have them install some new pickups, a bone nut, and do some other work on my H-535. After spending a lot of time with Tom Christopher and several new H-535's, I decided that purchasing a new guitar that already came with the pickups and bone nut I wanted was the way to go. So a trade and some cash brought home my new pride and joy. If I lived near Wolf Guitars year round, and not just four months a year, I would own a lot more Heritage guitars. They have a great selection of Heritage guitars and no high pressure sales tactics.
holyroller Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Sweet indeed ! Is that 17-18? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
schundog Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Congratulations! That's a beauty. What pickups were in the old one, and what did you go for in the new girl?
bsck1 Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Beautiful! So fun to get to share in your delight. Enjoy.
MisterG Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Very nice! Enjoy!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
myoldfriend Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 So sweet! Excellent choice of finish.. Do you relish the scent of it (as much as I do) every time you open that case...?
Hfan Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Congrats she is a beauty. What finish is it? I need to make that pilgrimage some day. Of my 4 Heritages, 3 are from them directly or indirectly.
kennyv4 Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Thanks for all the replies. I really love this guitar. My old H-535 had Schaller Golden 50's. The new H-535's color is Almond Sunburst and has SD Seth Lover pickups which I really love, along with that new guitar smell.
